Medical Staff
One Step programs relies on volunteers to fill our medical needs so that families can relax knowing that their child is receiving the care they need.
Each program has a minimum of two medical staff to care for campers.
We are always looking for physicians and pediatric oncologists to lend a helping hand. Nurse practitioners and nurses who specialize in hematology/oncology and/or critical care are also a welcome and necessary addition to our volunteer medical team.
Criteria for Volunteer Medical Staff:
Currently licensed as a physician, nurse or advanced practice provider (NP, PA)
Work experience of ~ 1 year or greater
Volunteer commitment of 3 full days at camp
Skills:

Chemotherapy certified
-
IV certifiied
-
Experience with central lines and ports
-
ACLS or PALS certified
-
BLS certified
