The stress placed on a family when a child is diagnosed with cancer or leukemia is overwhelming. In addition to the worry, families face enormous financial challenges. Things that were once taken for granted, like vacations and summer camp, are often no longer possible.

COSI believes that no child should have to give up summer camp because their family cannot afford it. Camp tuition is set at just $100 a week, a fraction of the actual cost, and is often waived entirely if the family is unable to pay.
