TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE

This tournament is a No-Limit, Single-Elimination, Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament with multiple re-buys. All floor director decisions are final. Poker Tournament Directors Association rules shall apply if there are any questions. Players shall be moved by tournament volunteers to different tables during any round to maintain a balanced number of players at each table and ensure fair and even play.

The Tournament will begin at 6:00 pm sharp and will last until there is 1 winner. Every player will begin with 10,000 chips. At the onset, blinds will progress in the following increments every 30 minutes.

BLINDS

  • 25/50
  • 50/100
  • 100/200
  • 15 Minute Break

There is the opportunity for multiple re-buys during the first 90 minutes of play and also during the first 15 minute break. A player can purchase as many re-buys as they like, but only when their chip count is at or below the 5,000 chips. Players can only make re-buys only at the BANK located adjacent to the poker room floor. Players may purchase either 5,000 chips for each $50 re-buy or $10,000 chips for each $100 re-buy. Players' stacks cannot exceed 10,000 chips following any re-buy that occurs during the first 90 minutes of play.

At the end of the first 90 minutes (7:30pm), there will be a 15 minute break during which EVERY player in the room, regardless of chip count, can make ONE add-on (bonus re-buy) of 5,000 chips for $50. [Examples: Dave has 3,500 chips at the break. Dave's friend, John, has 15,000 chips and his other friend, Karl, has no chips remaining at the break. Dave may purchase a 5,000 chip re-buy for $50 so that his chip count does not exceed 10,000 prior to the add-on. Dave may also purchase one add-on of 5,000 chips. John may only purchase one add-on of 5,000 chips because his chip count exceeds 10,000, but Karl may purchase a full 10,000 chip re-buy AND one add-on of 5,000 chips.]

Second Chance Raffle: All poker players may purchase second chance raffle tickets for $50 each at any time prior to the beginning of the 300/600 blinds in round two below. There is no limit to the number of second chance tickets purchased. Four lucky winners will be randomly selected to receive 10,000 chips regardless of their current chip count. Any raffle winners that were previously knocked out of the tournament will be re-seated at a new table by tournament volunteers.
